Abstract | In this article, we successfully extracted HA/beta-TCP biphasic calcium phosphate from the marine fish bones (Hairtails) by various temperature calcinations. By characterizing, we confirmed that beta-TCP was obtained from the calcined products of Hairtails, and the relative content of beta-TCP in fish bones calcined at 900 degrees C significantly increased. In addition, the mechanism of changing the composition ratio of BCP by heating was also discussed. Hairtails as a raw material was used to prepare biphasic calcium phosphate ceramics can be well applied to clinical medicine. (C) 2018 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved. |
