AbstractMo-doped TiO2 interlayer increases the UV photostability of perovskite solar cells through the redox shuttle between Mo(VI) and Mo(V), which is actually a kind of Mo redox microbattery. These microbatteries charge under UV illumination and the UV photostability of the whole perovskite solar cell is greatly enhanced due to the consumption of the UV light by the interlayer.
